New research centres to improve the lives of people with severe mental illness

Together with clinicians, people with lived experience of severe mental illness, and other societal actors, the researchers aim to pave the way for a more person-centred and evidence-based psychiatric care system.

    Nyhet Two new national research centres will contribute to improving living conditions for people living with dementia and their relatives. At the University of Gothenburg, Demsam is being established with a focus on a dementia-friendly and person-centred society, while Tracedem at Karolinska Institutet brings together researchers around individually tailored prevention, care and support.

  • SEK 11 million for transatlantic knowledge exchange

    News article The decision has now been made in Forte’s new call Visiting researcher grants USA 2026. Six project leaders at five Swedish higher education institutions will share just over SEK 11 million to invite and collaborate with researchers based in the United States.
